The BD-85-RCB500 HDPE boat is a commercial work vessel designed to operate in the most extreme environments with minimal maintenance. The High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) construction material provides the vessel with tremendous strength and permanent intact buoyancy.  With a larger deck area than the BD65, the BD85 still benefits from being an almost indestructible workboat. The BD85 is ideal for working in harsh marine environments, including Fish Farming, Offshore Services & Military or Life Saving applications 

HULL CONSTRUCTION

• Scantlings constructed to ISO 12215 and Bureau Veritas (BV) standards requirements
• Hull plates, frames and deck constructed from 12mm HDPE sheets
• The vessel hull design uses a proven deep ‘V’ design with a 19⁰ dead rise
• Cargo lashing points will be fitted to the deck subject to client requirement
• 6 x 30mm High Strength mooring cleats fitted 3 x starboard and 3 x port
• 20mm hull protection strips

DECK, BULWARKS & ANCHOR LOCKER

• The free draining deck is constructed out of 12mm HDPE 
• Bulwarks fitted with ring fairleads holes for mooring lines
• Forward Anchor Locker – Anchor chain and rope is housed within an HDPE constructed locker

HELM & SEATING

• Helm Console – navigation equipment, helm controls and emergency batteries.
• Full Targa Console, with storage lockers front & back
• Screen - consisting of 1 fixed, frame enclosed front window.
• Hydraulic Steering – Single station hydraulic steering.
• Fixings – All of marine grade stainless steel for fixings, hinges and handles.  

ENGINE

• Twin Yamaha 100hp outboard engines
• Commercial 2-year warranty.
• Single side-mount controls. 

FUEL

• The location of the fuel tank is above the deck, within a specially constructed locker with dedicated ventilation
• Fuel tank locker with 2 x 110ltr tanks
• Fuel level indicator mounted in the tank and connected to the console indicator
• Fuel system on the BD85 is fitted with water separator filters and water traps
• The fuel fill on the BD85 is located aft, with inline stainless-steel ball valves
